Why It Matters

Compliance isn't optional. Neither is peace of mind.

Florida fire code requires annual extinguisher inspections by a licensed company. Failed inspections can result in fines — and, more critically, an extinguisher that may not function in an emergency. We make compliance the easy part of running your business.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often do fire extinguishers need to be inspected?

Florida follows NFPA 10: every extinguisher needs a visual check monthly and a full inspection and certification by a licensed company annually. Every 6 years the extinguisher needs internal maintenance, and every 12 years it needs a hydrostatic test.

How much does it cost to recharge a fire extinguisher?

Recharge pricing depends on size and chemical type. Small ABC dry-chem units are typically the most affordable; larger commercial units and Class K wet-chem cost more. Call us for a same-day quote — no surprise fees.

Do you service kitchen hood suppression systems?

No — we focus on portable fire extinguishers only. If you need kitchen hood system service, we're happy to point you to a trusted local company that specializes in that.

What areas of South Florida do you serve?

We service all of Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties, including Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Hollywood, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and every city in between.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Cooper Fire Protection is licensed by the Florida State Fire Marshal and fully insured. Certification tags are applied on-site and all documentation is available on request.

Can you handle multi-site or property-management accounts?

Absolutely. We service multi-location retail, property managers, and warehouse clients across the tri-county area with consolidated reporting and invoicing.
